Welcome to the new Pagewood Park website launched in September 2025. Please check back from time to time for the latest news and information. The Committee of Management are looking forward to sharing information on achievements, special projects and general what's happening in the Estate.
SEPTEMBER 2025
A new caretaker has been appointed to maintain the estate common property. Specifically, garden maintenance, common facilities and infrastructure and community hall.
The committee has also been progressing with plans for the refurbishment of the tennis court area, in line with the Maintenance Plan.
After considering a range of options and feedback from residents, the committee has decided to replace the existing tennis court surface with a multipurpose court, marked with tennis lines, and incorporating a basketball tower at the hall end and a netball ring at the opposite end.
The adjacent empty court surface has been assessed and found to be suitable to remain in use for a few more years, serving both as a tennis court and for golf putting around the perimeter.
Other activities such as soccer, lawn bowls and croquet can be played on either court. This will be made possible using movable tennis nets to make space for other recreational activities, when needed. Making the courts available for a greater variety of recreational activities will cater for the increasingly diverse range of people on the estate, enhancing the area’s usage, appeal and value.
Works are expected to begin in the weeks, and a further update will be provided once the project timeline has been confirmed.
JUNE 2025
One of the key areas reviewed by the committee recently was lawn and garden maintenance, which represents a significant portion of the OC’s expenses. This review was long overdue and, following careful assessment, the Committee identified substantial efficiencies to better align services with seasonal variations. After consultation with gardening professionals and the contractor, a revised maintenance schedule has been implemented.
Looking ahead, anticipated savings are expected to significantly reduce lawn mowing and garden maintenance costs.
The Committee will continue to closely monitor the sustainability of the new lawn and garden schedules as a priority and adjust where practicable.
MARCH 2025
Pool rails have been installed to assist swimmers to enter and exit the pool safely.
The tennis court refurbishment project is well underway. The Committee will be sending out details of the project in the coming weeks which will outline the work to be undertaken.
Reminders for external painting of Lots for this year have been sent. This year marks the end of the 9 year painting cycle. The next round is due to start in 2029. If any Lot owner has questions regarding the painting required, please reach out to the Committee.
